Why this site exists
Rodent work is unusually hard to buy well. Two companies can look at the same attic and hand you numbers that differ by several thousand dollars, and neither quote explains why, because neither one separates the trapping from the sealing from the cleanup. The homeowner is then asked to choose between two figures that are not describing the same job.
Across the whole Miami market we could find exactly one company publishing any price at all. Everyone else asks you to book an inspection to find out. That is not unreasonable on its own, but it means the first real number you see arrives from a person standing in your attic telling you it is bad, which is the worst possible moment to be forming a view on what things should cost.
So this site publishes the ranges, explains what moves them, and lays out what a complete scope of work includes. Then it puts you in front of a licensed provider who will price your specific property. If you read the service pages and hire somebody else entirely, the pages still did their job.
What we do and what we do not do
We are a referral service. We do not carry a Florida pest control license, we do not own traps or ladders, and nobody employed by this site will be climbing into your roof space. The work is carried out by independent participating providers, each licensed and insured in their own right.
That distinction matters for one practical reason above all: every credential mentioned anywhere on this site belongs to the provider network rather than to us. When a page says the technician attending your property is licensed in Florida, that is a statement about them. We are the part that answers the phone, works out what has happened at the property, and gets the right provider moving.
What the phone is for
It is answered 24 hours a day, which matters more in this trade than in most, because the thing that finally makes people call is usually noise at two in the morning. What you get on that call is a conversation about what you are hearing and where, which is often enough to narrow the species before anyone visits. Daytime noise high in the structure points somewhere quite different from noise after dark, and that one detail changes the whole approach.
The inspection that follows is free when you book the work. It produces the species, the list of openings, the extent of any contamination, and a price for each part of the job.

Who actually shows up at my property?
An independent pest control or wildlife company licensed in Florida, working under its own license and its own insurance. We match your job to a provider in our network that covers your city and handles the specific work you need, which is not the same thing for a condo trash room as it is for a single-family attic. You are welcome to ask whoever attends for their license number and to check it against the state register before any work starts, and that is worth doing whoever you hire.
Why not just call a company directly?
You can, and plenty of people do. What this site is for is the part before that: working out what is actually happening at the property, what the scope of a complete job looks like, and roughly what it should cost, so that the quotes you collect are comparable. In a market where nobody publishes a price and every quote is bundled differently, that groundwork is most of the difficulty.
How do you make money?
We receive a referral fee from the provider when a visitor becomes their customer. It does not change your price, and it is disclosed in the footer of every page and in our Terms of Service.
Do you cover the whole county?
Miami-Dade and south Broward. There is a dedicated page for each of the sixteen cities listed in the footer, plus Miami itself. If you are just outside that area, call and we will tell you honestly whether we have someone who covers you.
